1 - Ownership of the site
Harcourt Studio, a French corporation authorized to conduct business in France, with a capital of 110 000 Euros, incorporated in Paris in the Register of Commerce, located 10, rue Jean Goujon, 75008 Paris, France, is the sole and entire owner of the present Harcourt website (hereinafter refferred as the "site").
Francis Dagnan, in his capacity as Harcourt corporation's General Director, is the site's Editor in chief.
2 - Site contents / Intellectual property
The site contents are understood to mean, but are not limited to, the general structure of the site, texts, photographs, images wether animated or not, and sounds that are contained on the site, as well as software used for creating and updating the site.
All copyright is reserved, including, but not limited to, all downloadable material and all graphics, illustrations, photographs and other iconographic representations.
The license to use that the user of the site is granted is personal and private. Any reproduction of the site contents in any form and on any medium, intended for public or professional use, even within the company, is therefore strictly prohibited.
Any communication of the site contents by electronic means, even within the company's intranet or extranet, is also strictly prohibited.
Permission is granted only to make a copy for storage purposes in order to display the copy on a single computer station, and for reproduction purposes, limited to a single copy, a back-up copy and paper printing.
Subject to the aforementioned, any display or reproduction, whether total or partial, of the site and its contents, by any means, without the prior explicit consent of Harcourt corporation, constitutes a copyright infringement, prohibited as such and punishable under the terms of articles 335-2 and subsequent of the French Intellectual Property Code.
3 - Law Relating to Data Processing
In accordance with the law relating to data protection, enacted on January 6, 1978, the site was subject to notification to the French Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (National Committee on Computer and Liberties), which delivered a receipt on May 24th, 2004, bearing the number).
Users of Harcourt corporation's site must respect the relevant law on protection of personal data. Any violation is subject to criminal sanctions. Users may not collect or use in any fraudulent way personal information they access. More generally, users may not perform any act that violates privacy laws or people's reputation and dignity.
4 - Trademarks
The Trademarks belonging to Harcourt and displayed on this site are registered Trademarks.
Any reproduction, partial or total, of the Trademarks displayed on the site without the prior explicit consent of Harcourt corporation is therefore stricly prohibited.
If you would like to request permission to use any of the Trademarks, you may do so by contacting us in writing at our main establishment.
All other Trademarks displayed on this site are also registered and protected. They may not be reproduced or used whithout the prior consent of their owners.
